Our biggest spring event pits house against house in a two-week battle for the coveted Cougar Cup. Students earn house points through Raise A Paw, Candy Grams, Fun Games, and our brand-new Cougar Quest — all fueling classroom grants and end-of-year celebrations.

From the Cougar Classic to Roar Wars
For years, our spring fundraiser was the beloved Cougar Classic. This year, we're evolving that tradition into something bigger, louder, and more fun for every student — Roar Wars: two full weeks of house-vs-house competition, school spirit, and community giving all rolled into one epic event.

Five ways for Cougars to earn points and rally their house.
Raise A Paw
Support Ellis Middle School and help us build a chain around the gym! Purchase links online or bring cash or check to school. Each house will be represented in our Ellis colors.
Candy Grams
Sweet Valentine's-style candy grams sold in the mornings before school at the concessions area. Buy in person — or order online and skip the line.
Fun Games
Lunchtime and before-school games throughout the two weeks — quick, silly, spirited fun for the whole school. Just for fun, no house points awarded.
Fun Teams
This year's Fun Teams event is Dodgeball! Rally your friends, form a team, and battle it out for house points.
Cougar Quest
Over the two weeks, the PTO has hidden small photos of faculty members around the school. Find a faculty member and gain points for your house! Some faculty are special and let you take points from another house. Keep an eye out, Cougars!
